Hello all,

I am sorry to keep hounding you and so appreciate all the parents who have volunteers so far.  

Since this is a home meet we need a lot of help to make this meet happen, run smoothly, parents to learn new roles and returning parents to help teach the new families how to volunteer at a swim meet.

The following roles are needed and good for returning parents who have swim meet experience and know the kids.

Bullpen boys - This is great for a dad (who has a boy) or a mom.  Great to get dads involved too.  We need 1st & 2nd session volunteers

Bullpen girls - Thank you Amanda for doing the girls first session!  We need a 2nd session volunteer

Deck Manager - Help organize the kids behind the blocks to get ready for their event - Thank Wendy Clyne for doing 1st session!

If you are a returning family and have signed up for one of the rolls better suited for new families, please consider the above roles to allow new parents to learn and our meet to be successful.

The following roles are needed and good for new families to learn and work with/near others who have done this role before

Place Judge - Sits near finish line of race with the judges recorder and lets the judges recorder know which lane came in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.  We need a 1st session volunteer.  Thank you Katie Hall for doing 2nd session!

Meet Clean Up - self explanatory

Concession Helper - Self explanatory

Timer - stands in one lane and is given a stop watch to record start/end of each swimmer race. We need 2nd session volunteer

Time recorder - stands in one lane with timer and records the time from the timer for each swimmer race.  We need 1st & 2nd Session volunteers.

Please sign up.  Time Trials is a swim meet with only our swim team.  It is a great way to learn new volunteers roles and meet the kids.  We will have some returning volunteers to float around and help new parents with their roles.  It is good to try and learn the different roles before we head to another team's pool or have another team at our pool.
