Hello Bullfrog parents,

I hope you all have enjoyed this swim season as much as our family has.  To our new families - we are so glad you joined us!  We hope you come back!!  It's great to see our "small but mighty" Bullfrogs team continue to grow.  We like to think of ourselves as the "Best Little Swim Team in Dunwoody".  Regardless of the final score, we always score big on fun!!

The tradition on our team has always been to take up a (voluntary) collection from parents at the end of the year to recognize the coaches and team managers as well as other parents with major roles on our team.  We will present the gifts at our end of season party next Thu.  We ask that you give an amount you are comfortable with (typical donations are $10-$30).  If you want to contribute, please put your cash or check (made out to Amanda Hensley) in a sealed envelope w/my name and your name on it (particularly for cash so I know who it's from) and give it to me personally at a swim practice (or our last meet) or drop it in my mailbox at 5246 Waterford Dr. (on the way to Waterford pool).  I will be at practice Mon afternoon (BrookeFarm) and Tue. am (Deerfield) and also at the meet.

So that we can plan accordingly, please send me an email w/the amount you plan to give.  We would like to show our appreciation (gift card or cash, along with a note) for the following (6) parents:

Coach Katie - our wonderful, patient, and competent coach

Wendy Clyne - our awesome team manager!

Kim Champney- team co-manager who handles lots of behind the scenes stuff, including web site

Tracy McIntosh (Computers) - very time consuming job and she is very good at it

Melanie Marks (Concessions) - great job w/the Lily Pad this year - revenues were up

Mary Donahue (Volunteer Coordinator) - enough said!

I will be asking these parent volunteers separately if they want to contribute to a coach's gift as well.  I know the management will also recognize other parents for their contributions (Gin Shaw - pictures, Mark Mason - sound equipment for home meets, perhaps others I am forgetting or don't know about).  In addition, the team management is taking care of gifts for the asst. coaches.
