First Week of Practice
Dear Parents, Swimmers and Coaches,
We will begin our dry land conditioning on May 5th. Swimmers should come with comfortable/work out clothes and running/tennis shoes on, for that week. We are scheduled to begin practice at 4:30 with our six and under group, followed by the 7-10 group at 5:00, and then the 11 and up group at 5:45. The following week, I am looking to change the start time for the six and unders to 5:00 so that Coach Katie can get from work to practice in time to meet with all three groups of swimmers. However, this is contingent on the Brooke Farm board approving that change.
May 9th from 4:30-6:00 we are going to have the Swim Shop at the Brooke Farm pool for suit fittings. Again, if you aren't able to attend that day, you can still order the primo green suit from The Swim Shop website.
We're doing a great job with registration. We already have about 48 swimmers. If you know anyone who'd like to join, or return to, our team please encourage them to register.
Thank you for being patient with me, thus far. I am trying to juggle work, family and swim team, and need about two more hands than I have right now. If you have time and are so inclined, I need assistance with scheduling our after meet outings (Bruester's, Chick-fil-A, etc...). I would also like help with the financial aspect of our team. This would include collecting swim team fees and proceeds from our various spirit night/after meet outings (again from Bruster's, Chick fil A, etc...)
See you soon,
If you know that your child/ren will not be participating, please let me know. That way, I can take your name off our emailing list (one less file to delete
).
Sincerely,
Wendy Clyne
