Swim Meet Tomorrow!
Bullfrog Families,
Tomorrow is our first swim meet of the season. Let's show our spirit and wear any Deerbrooke Waters shirts that you may have from any previous season. Also, get your swimmers to the Spalding Lake pool at 4:30p.m. Any swimmers not at morning practice need to get their events written on them. Volunteers, you'll need to find Amanda Hensley and check in with her to get your assignment tags and any pertinent information. Parents, make sure your child(ren) know the importance of staying in the bullpen. Unfortunately, it has happened that a swimmer has missed their event because we could not find them. Staying in the bullpen eliminates some of this issue.
First time swim parents, know that a swim meet is just organized chaos. Everyone did a great job at time trials, and it only gets easier throughout the season. Remember to have fun and stay relaxed. We will get through this together
.
Finally, for future events, try to rsvp in plenty of time for our coaches to get names into the swim meet lineup. Do this by going to the Deerbrooke Waters home page (www.deerbrookewaters.swim-team.us). Once there, look for the rsvp button on the calendar (link is at the top of the page) or the upcoming events on the left of the page. When it prompts you to log in, use the password - gobullfrogs. That should allow you to see a red button on the RSVP and Volunteer buttons. Click on those and enter your information. HOPEFULLY, this helps but please let me know if you need further assistance.
Take care and I will see you tomorrow at Spalding Lake for our first swim meet of the season!
Go Bullfrogs!
Wendy
