Hello Bullfrogs!

Another swim season is upon us and it's time to start planning!  We are a little late getting started  but still have plenty of time to pull things together if we have enough willing volunteers. 

Before we formally open registration on our web site, I want to confirm how many swimmers and families we will have.  Please respond to me by Sunday 3/20 with your intentions.  I am able to help with swim team management this year in a limited capacity and will need LOTS of support.  I know families' plans and swimmer's interests change from year to year so I am reaching out to as many Bullfrog families as I can, past and present.  Also, we plan to be hiring a new coach over the next few weeks (Madison Demetry will be studying abroad in May/June).  I'd like to have commitment from 50 swimmers and 20 families before we hire a new coach and commit to being part of the ASA league again this year.  The deadline to let them know is 3/24.  Hopefully, there will be enough interest!  If not, sadly, we may have to say good-bye to our awesome little Bullfrog team.  Please invite your friends and neighbors!!

For planning purposes, meets this year will be Tuesdays 5/31 through 6/21, with the final meet being on Monday 6/27 (this is because our ASA divisional will be Wed. 6/29 at 9am at GT) and the Championship meet on Sat. 7/2.  Pre-season practice will likely start Monday 5/16 and we typically have an end of season celebration.  This year's timing will be tricky bc the season is ending during the July 4th holiday weekend.  We may choose to have the "banquet" on Thu. 6/30, before the final Championship meet.  All the practice details will need to be worked out with our new coach and the team managers.

To ensure a successful and enjoyable swim season for all, we need to fill the following positions (minimum).  I have included the name of the person who handled this position last year.  Please let me know if you are willing/able to fulfill this position again this year.

Please let me know your plans for swim team by Sunday, 3/21.  Last season was a lot of fun as usual.   We even got 2 wins and one loss was only by 8 points!  Hopefully we will be able to continue the Bullfrog tradition in 2016!!
