**We will have a "Games and Ribbons" event (G&R) at the Thu pm practice. Approx. time is 4:30. Thu practice for the older kids will typically be a shortened, stroke clinic practice, but each age group will practice on Thu. All age groups are encouraged to attend G&R. This is when we pass out ribbons and celebrate each swimmer's accomplishments for the week!

*Tue morning is a light practice (meet day). It typically will last only 30 minutes per age group, even for the older kids. In the past we've found it easier to remember if we just keep morning practice start times the same for each age group on the calendar. So on Tue morning, the 7-10 group will likely finish before 10:45 but 11&Up sill not start until 10:45.

What if my swimmer can't attend when they are supposed to? Our team and coaching staff are flexible and want to accommodate for each swimmer as much as possible. If your kids are in different age groups but able/willing to swim in the same practice group, talk to the head coach (offline - please do not interrupt them during practice as they are very busy and focused on teaching your kids!). If your swimmer needs to attend a different practice group on a particular day, again, we can accommodate that. Let the head coach know ahead of time if you can. If your 10 yo son, who is a strong swimmer, wants to swim with the big kids bc his best swim team friend is 11, we can do that. The 6&Under group is an exception - they need their own practice time and haven't yet learned the strokes the older kids are working on. Just talk with the head coach about your practice needs so they can plan the practice sets accordingly.
