HEY BULLFROGERS!

What a phenomenal first week of summer swim team! As I walked through the Brooke Farm gate onto the pool deck this week, I looked around to see so many faces of parents and swimmers I adore, as well as a handful of smiling new faces, and it hit me, GOODNESS it feels GREAT to be a Bullfrog! What a special and unique team we have!

We are off to a great start! I'm delighted by the organization and enthusiasm of our coaching team and the incredible parents who have offered to take on new roles to help support our team. It truly does take a village to make this team work. A big thanks to Stephanie for stepping into the role of Treasurer and to Chris for fixing the lane line cart. Also, big thanks to Kimmie and Kendall for taking on and preparing for our 3 home meet concessions, Hannah for acting as on coordination with Brooke Farm and organizing our team banquet and Matt & Felicia volunteer coordination...thanks guys!! A tremendous amount of gratitude - as always - to Amanda and Julie Hensley for their guidance and action to stabilize team operations, as well as their time to transfer their extensive knowledge to the team. 

Julie has also graciously offered to act as Head Coach for our first meet on May 31st and to help keep the coaching team "up to snuff" for the season. Julie will be at practice tomorrow (hopefully) to say hello and introduce herself to new parents and swimmers.

We are still in (desperate) need of a volunteer to run the computer/entries leading up to and during the meet. PLEASE consider helping with this VERY important role.
